        INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

[STEP 1] 
Start by extracting the zip file which you downloaded from our website.

Upload the EbayAssist folder to your web server.

        Q. Can I rename "EbayAssist"
        A. Yes but you should do it now, before installation.

CHMOD the file EbayAssist/includes/mysql.php to 777 (read, write,
execute permissions for all).

Create a MySQL database on your server.

Open your web browser and go to : 
http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/EbayAssist/install/install.php

        [STEP 5 FAQ]
        Q. I get a 404 not found, why?
        A. Did you substitute YOURDOMAIN for your ACTUAL domain?

[STEP 6]
Fill out the installation form. You will need to enter a host (which is usally
"localhost" without quotes but can somtimes be "mysql" or the IP 
address of your server. You will also need to enter your database name
database username and database password.

You will also need to choose a EbayAssist admin username, password
and email address.

Click "Install".

        [STEP 6 FAQ]
        Q. I get  the message : "SQL Error : No Database Selected".
        A. You have incorrectly entered host, database name, database 
        username or database password.

[STEP 7]
If installation was successful you will be asked to log in to EbayAssist's
administration area.

Delete the file EbayAssist/install/doinstall.php from your web server.

[STEP 8]
Finally, log in to your Paypal account.
        a)Click "Profile".
        b)Under "Selling Preferences" find and click "Instant Payment Notification Preferences" or try this this :
        https://www.paypal.com/row/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_profile-ipn-notify
        
        c)Make sure that "Instant Payment Notification (IPN)" is "On".
        d)Set your IPN URL as follows (adjusted according to your domain & folder settings) :
                http://www.yourdomain.com/EbayAssist/ipn.php

                [STEP 7 NOTES]
                1) Paypal may of changed its layout since the writing of this documentation. If you can't find where
                to enter your IPN URL > please contact Paypal or use their help documentation.
                2) On most servers, the IPN URL is cAsE seNSitIVe.
